NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. at Aurora City Hall, 21420 Main Street NE, the Aurora Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing regarding Legislative Amendment 2021-02 (File #LA-21-02) which proposes to amend sections of the Aurora Municipal Code and Aurora Comprehensive Plan. At the conclusion of the public hearing, the Planning Commission will make a recommendation to the Aurora City Council regarding the proposed amendments. The City Council will conduct a public hearing to consider adoption of the proposed amendments. The City Council hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 7:00 p.m., Aurora City Hall, 21420 Main Street NE. The proposed text amendments for application LA-21-02 include: — Text amendment to Commercial and Industrially zoned properties to clarify driveway access spacing definitions, standards, and access drive requirements to increase safety; — Text amendment to the Parking District Overlay zone (AMC 16.28) exempting change of uses/new occupancy from having to provide on-site parking; and — Text amendment to the Aurora Comprehensive Plan to include reference to the 2010 Aurora Airport IGA with the City of Aurora and Aurora Airport Master Plan.
