NOTICE OF FLOODPLAIN PERMIT ISSUANCE The City of Beaverton intends to issue a site development permit for the proposed Willamette Water Supply Program project. The project site located at 10029 SW Nimbus Ave., is within the FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) designated 100-year floodplain of Lower Fanno Creek. The work proposed within the floodplain includes constructing a temporary receiving shaft for the trenchless construction of a 48 inch water transmission pipeline under Fanno Creek. After the trenchless work is complete, the shaft will be backfilled, and the parking lot and landscape areas will be replaced to the pre-construction conditions. No changes to the existing floodplain are proposed. Written appeals, based solely on anticipated adverse effects of this work, may be filed with the City Recorder on or before 5:00 PM, PDT, December 16, 2021. This notice is intended to meet the requirements of Beaverton City Code, Section 9.05.085. A copy of this code and the proposed plans are available for examination at The Beaverton Building (City Hall), Community Development Department, Site Development Division, 12725 SW Millikan Way (4th Floor), Beaverton, Oregon.
