METRO Removal and Disposal of Compactor #1 at MCS Proposals due: January 18, 2022 @ 2:00 pm REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS ITB 3999 Metro is requesting sealed bids for Metro Central Transfer Station located at 6161 NW 61st, Portland, OR. Sealed bids are due no later than 2:00 p.m., January 18, 2022, in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Deanna Podbielan, Procurement Analyst, ITB 3999. Responses will be opened publicly at that time. A voluntary pre-bid conference for all potential prime and sub-contractors is scheduled on January 5, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. At Metro Central Transfer Station, 6161 NW 61st Street, Portland, Oregon 97210. Because of the State of Oregon’s social distancing policy, a limited number people are allowed to tour the site at one time. Each potential bidder is limited to one attendee. Attendance will be per RSVP. If the first conference fills up we will hold another at 10:00 am. Work consists of removal and disposal of one elevated, horizontal solid waste transfer conveyor, removal and disposal of one in-floor, inclined solid waste pit conveyor, filling the resulting pit, and associated work. All bidders submitting a bid for public improvements over $50,000 certify that they will pay and comply with the minimum prevailing wage requirements of ORS 279C.800-279C.870 and if applicable 40 U.S.C.276a. Solicitation documents can be viewed and downloaded from Bid Locker (bidlocker.us) Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is deemed in the public interest.
