Public Notice- PLANNING COMMISSION AND CITY COUNCIL LEGISLATIVE HEARINGS

PUBLIC NOTICE PLANNING COMMISSION AND CITY COUNCIL LEGISLATIVE HEARINGS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That the City of Fairview Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to review proposed Development Code amendments at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the meeting will be held on Zoom. Please see the meeting agenda for Zoom login, available one week in advance at the following webpage: https://fairvieworegon.gov/207/Planning-Commission. Those wishing to participate in the meeting are asked to notify the Fairview City Recorder at 503-674-6224 or leymasterd@ci.fairview.or.us at least 24 hours prior to the start of the meeting so arrangements may be coordinated. Application #2022-2-TA / ORD 2-2022 adopting the Fairview Transportation System Plan Amendment to include the proposed roundabout project at the NE Fairview Parkway / NE Halsey intersection, the proposed bike/transit hub project, and associated planning efforts. The application is subject to the Type IV legislative process in accordance with FMC 19.413.040, and criteria in FMC 19.205 as well as the rules of procedure adopted by the Council. The Planning Commission will review the above application and make a recommendation to the City Council. The City Council will consider the Planning Commission’s recommendation at the first reading on Wednesday, February 2 and a second reading and a public hearing tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, February 16. City Council meetings are held at 7:00 pm at Fairview City Hall, 1300 NE Village Street, Fairview, Oregon and/or via Zoom. Please contact the City Recorder for a final determination of how the meeting will be held. The City Council may make a final decision regarding the above application at the public hearing on February 16, 2022. If the City Council renders a decision, it will be mailed to anyone who submitted written comments, provided public testimony, or who is otherwise legally entitled to notice.
