Yamhill County Planning Department, is seeking applicants for a position on the Yamhill County Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC).

PUBLIC NOTICE PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN Yamhill County Solid Waste, a division of the Yamhill County Planning Department, is seeking applicants for a position on the Yamhill County Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC). SWAC’s role is to advise the Yamhill County Board of Commissioners on issues related to solid waste disposal, recycling rates, regulations, and creation of new programs. SWAC meets a minimum four times per year; more meetings may be scheduled based on need. SWAC consists of five voting members who are selected with due regard to geographical considerations and two non-voting industry members. There is currently one (1) position open on the committee. Members serve a three-year term. Applicants must reside in Yamhill County; applicants serve under ORS 459.320 group designations.
