METRO BLUE LAKE PARK MAINTENANCE AREA CMGC (RE-SOLICITATION) Proposals due: May 5, 2022 @ 2:00 pm REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS RFP 4031 Metro is inviting proposals for Construction Manager/General Contractor Services for the Blue Lake Park Operations and Maintenance Facilities. Electronic proposals only are due no later than May 5, 2022 at 2:00 pm to http://bidlocker.us/a/oregonmetro/BidLocker. Details are provided in the solicitation document. Pre-Proposal Conference A voluntary pre-proposal conference will be held at Blue Lake Park office located at 21224 NE Blue Lake Road, Fairview, OR 97024 on April 14, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Directions are in the RFP. Interested proposers and subcontractors are encouraged to attend the conference in order to gain information about the RFP requirements Metro is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide construction management and general contracting services in two phases: preconstruction phase services and construction phase services, and as described in the solicitation document. The current operation and maintenance site at Blue Lake Park no longer meets program requirements, does not meet current seismic/structural code, does not meet ADA requirements and does not advance Metro’s sustainability Goals. This CMGC project will address these issues, either by replacing the current facility or renovating/expanding the existing one. This procurement is for a community benefit program as defined in ORS 279C.300-470 and the selected contractor shall acquire rights and responsibilities under a Regional Workforce Equity Agreement. This agreement and details of the program are included in the solicitation document. All vendors submitting an offer for public improvements over $50,000 certify that they will pay and comply with the minimum prevailing wage requirements of ORS 279C.800-279C.870 and if applicable 40 U.S.C.276a. Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is deemed in the public interest.
