NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Record Number 217-22-000082-PLNG Notice is hereby given that the Crook County Planning Commission will hold an initial evidentiary public hearing on two consecutive days from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday July 27th & Thursday July 28th, 2022. The hearing will occur at the Crook County Fairgrounds in the Carey Foster Hall, 1280 Main, Prineville, OR 97754, to consider the following: The property owner 818 Powell Butte, LLC and their agent Hal Keever with Atwell LLC, applied for a modification to the Crossing Trails Destination Resort approval (record DR-08-0092). Proposed modifications include changes to the type and number of units being proposed as well as the types of recreational components that are proposed. Approval of the modification will result in changes to the prior approval (DR-08-0092) and will allow development of the destination resort consistent with the prior approval incorporating the proposed modifications. The hearing is being held pursuant to Crook County Code (CCC), Title 18, Chapters 116, 160, & 172, the Crook County Comprehensive Plan, Oregon Administrative Rules and Oregon Revised Statutes. The properties are identified in the Assessor’s database as Map 15S 15E Section 17, Tax Lots 100, 106, 109, & 110. It is located at the northeast corner of SW Parrish Ln & SW Wiley Rd. The property is in the Exclusive Farm Use Zone, EFU-3 (Powell Butte Area). Written testimony will continue to be accepted until the record closes, which may occur as soon as the conclusion of the public hearing. Failure to raise an issue in the hearing, in person or by letter, or failure to provide sufficient specificity to afford the decision maker an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals based on that issue.
