PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Estacada Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on September 15, 2022, beginning at 7:00 pm in the Estacada City Council Chambers, Estacada, Oregon, to consider the following proposals: 2022-05-ANNEX: 30203 SE Eagle Creek Road The applicant, William Jardine, is proposing the annexation of one property described as Tax Lot 34E 17DC 503 comprising 5.3 acres of land. The property is currently zoned Clackamas County RRFF5: Rural Residential Farm Forest 5-acre, and the proposal does not include any change to the Central Mixed Use (CMU) designation established on the City’s Comprehensive Plan Map. This proposal is subject to the approval criteria in Estacada Municipal Code chapter 16.124 Annexations and applicable goals and policies of the Estacada Comprehensive Plan. The Planning Commission will forward a recommendation to City Council who will hold a public hearing on Monday, October 10th, 2022 beginning at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers at Estacada City Hall. 2022-02-LP: 199 NW 6th Avenue The applicant, Michael Kerr, is proposing a two-lot partition of the 0.45 acre property at 199 NW 6th Avenue described as Tax Lot 34E 20AD 1400. The applicant’s proposal includes a concurrent request for conditional use approval to permit the development of duplexes on the subject properties, and to permit the construction of one duplex on the existing parcel before the demolition of the existing single-family home and before the recordation of the proposed new lot lines. The lot is zoned as Low-Density Residential (R-1). The application is subject to approval criteria in Estacada Municipal Code chapters 16.16, 16.76, 16.88, 16.104, 16.112, 16.116, and 16.120, and applicable goals and policies of the Estacada Comprehensive Plan. Anyone wishing to present written testimony on this proposed action may do so in writing prior to or at the Public Hearing. Testimony and evidence must be directed toward the applicable approval criteria or other criteria, which a person believes to apply to the decision. Failure to raise an issue in a hearing, in person, or by letter, or failure to provide sufficient specificity to afford the decision maker an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal of the Commission’s decision based upon that issue. A copy of the application and applicable criteria is available for inspection at no cost at City Hall. Copies of the document will be provided at reasonable cost. A copy of the City’s staff report will be available for inspection at no cost at least seven days prior to the Public Hearing.
