PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Yamhill County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on April 13, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. in room 32 of the Yamhill County Courthouse, located at 535 East Fifth Street, McMinnville to consider the Planning Director’s denial of: DOCKET FP-10-22, a request by NV5 Inc. for Chehalem Parks and Recreation District (CPRD) for a flood plain development permit for the construction of a new footbridge over Chehalem Creek at Ewing Young Park. The parcel is identified as Tax Lot 4106-101 and is located at 37108 NE Wilsonville Rd., Newberg. This application is being reviewed based criteria in Sections 501 and 901 of the Yamhill County Zoning Ordinance. Interested parties are invited to send written comment to fridayk@co.yamhill.or.us or may appear and testify at the hearing. Comments submitted the day of the hearing will not be accepted via e-mail or fax but must be submitted in writing (12 copies) at the hearing. Failure to raise an issue, either in person or in writing, or failure to provide statements or evidence sufficient to allow the Board of Commissioners an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes an affected party’s appeal of the decision to the Land Use Board of Appeals on that issue.
