PUBLIC NOTICE On behalf of Cellco Partnership and its controlled affiliates doing business as Verizon Wireless, American Towers LLC is proposing the height extension of an existing monopole telecommunications tower from 103.6-ft above ground level (AGL) overall to 122-ft AGL (123-ft AGL overall with appurtenances) associated with the collocation of antennas at 117-ft AGL on the aforementioned heightened tower located at 2888 Southwest 247th Avenue, southwest of the City of Hillsboro, within the central portion of Washington County, OR; at latitude: N 45.498167deg., longitude: W 122.929250deg. (NAD 83), on the southern portion of an approximately 0.93-acre property identified as Parcel ID: 1S209AD06200 by the Washington County Tax Assessor’s Office. No new ground disturbance is proposed, and the previously unlit tower will remain unlit. American Towers, LLC seeks comments from all interested persons on any potential significant impact the proposed action could have on the quality of the human environment pursuant to 47 C.F.R. Section 1.1307, including potential impacts to historic or cultural resources that are listed or eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places. Interested persons may review the project application pending with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) at www.fcc.gov/asr/applications by entering Form 854 File No. A1246612. Interested persons may comment or raise environmental impact concerns about the proposed action by filing a Request for Environmental Review with the FCC. The FCC strongly encourages all interested parties to make such filings online, following the instructions found at www.fcc.gov/asr/environmentalrequest.
