Newspaper Notification for FEMA Case 23-10-0589P The Clackamas County Department of Planning and Zoning and City of Canby Development Services Department, in accordance with National Flood Insurance Program regulation 65.7(b)(1), hereby gives notice of the County’s and City’s intent to revise the flood hazard information, generally located upstream of Pacific Highway 1E bridge across the Molalla River outside of Canby, OR. Specifically, the flood hazard information will be revised along the Molalla River from a point just upstream of the U.S. Route 99E bridge to a point approximately 5,450 feet upstream of the U.S. Route 99E bridge. As a result of the revision, the floodway will widen and narrow, the 1-percent- annual-chance water-surface elevations shall increase and decrease, and the 1-percent-annual-chance floodplain will widen and narrow within the area of revision. Maps and detailed analysis of the revision can be reviewed at the County’s Planning and Zoning Department, 150 Beavercreek Road, Oregon City, OR 97045.
