NOTICE OF PLANNING COMMISSION HEARINGS Notice is hereby given that the Crook County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, public hearings are being to consider the following: D. Adam Smith filed a commercial event application on behalf of property owners Gregory and Karen Huston identified as file number 217-23-001215-PLNG. The application is for 18 commercial events to be held on the property annually. The property is identified as map/tax lot 1415200000600. The property is zoned Exclusive Farm Use Zone, EFU-2 (Prineville Valley – Lone Pine Area). The property is part of a larger ranching tract, north of NW O’Neil Hwy and approximately 4.5 miles northwest from the City of Prineville. Failure to raise an issue in the hearing, in person or by letter, or failure to provide sufficient specificity to afford the decision maker an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes an appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals based on that issue.
