NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at 6:30 PM on WEDNESDAY, January 27, 2016, the Planning Commission of the City of Beaverton will initially consider the proposed city-initiated amendment to the Beaverton Comprehensive Plan described below. The Planning Commission will meet at the Beaverton City Hall Council Chambers, located on the first floor of The Beaverton Building at 12725 SW Millikan Way, Beaverton, Oregon.
CPA2015-0008 (South Cooper Mountain Local Wetland Inventory)
The City of Beaverton proposes to adopt the Local Wetland Inventory for the South Cooper Mountain Annexation Area through an amendment to Volume 3 (Statewide Planning Goal 5 Resource Inventory Documents) of the City of Beaverton Comprehensive Plan.
The South Cooper Mountain Annexation Area is comprised of twenty-two (22) properties, totaling approximately 544 acres, and is generally located along the north side of SW Scholls Ferry Road, west of SW Loon Drive, east of SW Tile Flat Road, and south of SW Cooper Mountain Lane/SW Horse Tale Drive.
Approval criteria for the Comprehensive Plan Amendment includes Section 1.5.1.A-D and Section 1.5.3.A of the Beaverton Comprehensive Plan. You may review a copy of the staff report and all other documents related to the proposal at the City’s Community Development Department Public Counter, located on the 4th floor of City Hall, on or after January 20, 2016 (at least 7 days prior to the Planning Commission hearing date). Failure to raise an issue in a hearing, in person or by letter, or failure to provide statements or evidence sufficient to afford the decision-making authority an opportunity to respond to such issue, may preclude appeal to a court of competent jurisdiction on that issue. To be addressed in the staff report, written comments on the above proposed ordinance actions shall be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2016.
