INVITATION TO BID: WATER SYSTEM
IMPROVEMENTS – 2016
ISLAND CITY, OR

The City of Island City, Oregon, invites Bids for the construction of Water System Improvements – 2016. The Work for this Project involves, but is not limited to, the modification of the Well No. 4 booster pump station, including the installation of new booster pumps and controls, construction of the Well No. 5 booster pump station, construction of a 500,000-gallon welded steel reservoir, and all Work required to provide complete and operational booster pump stations and a water storage reservoir. Water distribution system improvements include the installation of approximately 9,200 feet of 12-, 10-, 8-, and 6-inch pipe; installation of a 12-inch pipe by boring under the Idaho Northern Railroad tracks; installation of a 12-inch pipe beneath a state highway bridge across the Grande Ronde River; existing flowmeter and fire hydrant replacement; and all other Work required to complete the water distribution system improvements as shown on the Drawings and specified.
The Contract Time for this Project is 180 calendar days.
Sealed Bids for the described Project will be received by the City of Island City, at City Hall at 10605 Island Avenue, Island City, Oregon 97850, until 2:00 p.m., local time, June 2, 2016, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Contract is subject to the applicable provisions of ORS 279C.800 through ORS 279C.870, the Oregon Prevailing Wage Law.
This Project is being funded in part through USDA Rural Development.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
