City of Vale, Oregon, invites Bids for the construction of Water System Improvements – Rhinehart Transmission Line – 2016. The Work for this Project involves, but is not limited to, the installation of approximately 500 feet of 14-inch high density polyethylene water line under the Malheur River utilizing the horizontal directional drilling method, construction of approximately 1,600 feet of 14-inch polyvinyl chloride water transmission pipeline, and all other Work shown on the Drawings and as specified.
Sealed Bids for the described Project will be received by the City of Vale, at Vale City Hall at 252 B Street West, Vale, Oregon 97918, until 2:00 p.m., local time, August 11, 2016, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Contract Time for this Project is 60 calendar day for substantial completion.
The Contract is subject to the applicable provisions of ORS 279C.800 through ORS 279C.870, the Oregon Prevailing Wage Law.
This Project is being funded in part through the Oregon Business Development Department – Infrastructure Finance Authority – Water/Wastewater Financing Program.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
