The Canby Urban Renewal Agency will hold a public hearing on or about 6:00 PM on December 7, 2016, at the Canby City Council Chambers located at 222 NE 2nd Avenue, 1st Floor regarding the proposed transfer of public real property in accordance with ORS 271.310 and ORS 221.725.
The subject real property proposed for sale to a developer is Dowtown Commercial Property. The addresses, map and tax lot numbers are as follows:

The City has built a new library/civic building which houses all city offices that were located on the property. The Canby Urban Renewal Agency accepted the transfer of ownership of the property on September 21, 2016. It is the Canby Urban Renewal Agency’s desire to pursue an agreement with a developer to create a mixed use ground floor retail and multi-family housing project.
Any resident of the City will be given an opportunity to present written or oral testimony regarding the proposal of the Agency to sell the property at the hearing on December 7, 2016.
