Planning Commission Public Hearing on February 4, 2020: Legislative Amendment 2019-01(LA-19-01).

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at Aurora City Hall, 21420 Main Street NE, the Aurora Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing regarding Legislative Amendment 2019-01 (LA-19-01) which proposes to amend sections of the Aurora Municipal Code regarding retail marijuana in the Historic District. After the hearing, the Planning Commission will make a recommendation to the City Council regarding the amendment. The City Council will conduct a public hearing on the proposed amendments on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 7:00 p.m., Aurora City Hall, 21420 Main Street NE. The proposed text amendment includes: — Amend the Historic Commercial Overlay (HCO) zone, Aurora Municipal Code section 16.22, to add medical and recreational marijuana retail stores, as conditional uses, in the HCO zone. Persons wishing to participate in the public hearing may appear in person or by representative at the dates and times listed above. Written comments may also be submitted to the City Recorder at 21420 Main Street NE, Aurora, OR 97002. One week prior to the meeting, the proposed amendments and a staff report will be available for inspection at no cost, or copies may be purchased at a reasonable cost.
