CITY OF WEST LINN, OREGON 2020 WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT (PW-20-01) Bids due: Feb. 26, 2020 @ 2:00 pm INVITATION FOR BID Sealed bids for the 2020 Water Main Replacement Project will be received by Erich Lais, P.E., Assistant City Engineer, at the downstairs Engineering counter at West Linn City Hall, 22500 Salamo Road, West Linn, Oregon, 97068 until 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 26, 2020 when bids shall be publicly opened and read. Bids received after 2:00 PM on said day will not be considered. First Tier Subcontractor Disclosure forms shall be submitted no later than 4:00 PM on the same day. Bids shall be clearly marked 2020 Water Main Replacement Project (PW-20-01) Bids shall be valid for sixty (60) days following bid opening. An optional pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 2:00 PM at West Linn City Hall. Statements made by the City’s representatives at the pre-bid meeting are not binding upon the City unless confirmed by written addendum. This project is a public works project subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. This waterline replacement project generally consists of the installation of approximately 1,400 linear feet of ductile iron waterline. The Engineer’s Estimate for this project is $351,000. The project plans, specifications and contract provisions may be reviewed at no cost through the City of West Linn’s website at http://bids.westlinnoregon.gov/ or paper copies may be obtained, with advanced notice through the City of West Linn Engineering Division at 22500 Salamo Road, West Linn, (503)722-5500, at a cost of $50.00 per set. If you wish to receive any future addendums for this project please login to the City’s bid management website and add your company to the plan holders list. Questions may also be submitted through the website. The City shall consider no bid unless the bidder is registered with the Oregon Construction Contractor Board and the bidder has complied with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements. The City of West Linn reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to postpone the award for 90 days, to delete certain items from the proposal, and to award the contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
