WASHINGTON COUNTY FAIR COUNTY FAIR SECURITY Bids Due: March 3, 2020 @ 11:00 am CALL FOR BIDS Washington County Fair is requesting sealed bids for a one-year agreement with the possibility of two, two-year extensions for County Fair Security services for the Washington County Fair. Successful contractor will have been in business a minimum of ten years and have experience as the sole provider of event security at gated events such as Fairs and Festivals with attendance of 100,000 plus. Bids must be received by 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 03, 2020 in the Washington County Purchasing Division Office, Suite 270, Charles D. Cameron Public Services Building, 155 North First Avenue, Hillsboro, OR 97124. Bids will be opened immediately thereafter. Bids received after the designated time and date, per the official bid clock located in Purchasing, will be returned unopened. A copy of the Invitation to Bid document is posted on the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN) at http://orpin.oregon.gov. Solicitation documents can be viewed and downloaded from the ORPIN site. Bidders are responsible for checking the ORPIN site for any addendums before submitting their bids. The initial resulting contract will be for $235,000.00 for the first year with options to renew up to five years. The total estimated expenditure over five years is $1,150,000. The County may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the County it is in the public interest to do so. Bids must contain a statement as to whether the bidder is a resident bidder, as defined in ORS 279A.120. Bidders are solely responsible for ensuring receipt of their bid by the Purchasing Division. Bidders must conform to the requirements of these solicitation documents and all related, applicable laws.
