ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS NOTICE TO BIDDERS: Sealed bids for construction of the Corbett Water District Gordon Creek Aquifer Storage and Recovery Test Well will be received by the District Clerk, Gail Griffith, until 2:00 p.m. local time on the 17th day of March, 2020. BID OPENING: The Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 p.m. local time on the 17th day of March, 2020, in the Meeting Room at the Corbett Water District offices, 36120 E. Historic Columbia River Hwy. Corbett, Oregon 97019. Contractors are required to submit a completed First Tier Subcontractor Disclosure form with their Bids submittal package. WORK TO BE PERFORMED: The scope of work for the Gordon Creek Aquifer, Storage and Recovery roject includes drilling a deep test well to evaluate aquifer conditions and water quality in the Columbia River Basalt Group. Specific tasks include: drilling, installation, development and hydraulic and geophysical testing of a 1,400 ft deep well located at the project site near the intersection of East Larch Mountain Road and SE Deverell Road in Corbett, Oregon. All tasks must be completed within 180 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed estimated to be by June 30, 2020. Work will be completed in coordination with the District, have a 60-day calendar day performance period and be completed no later than December 15, 2020. PREVAILING WAGE: This is a contract for a public work subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. PREQUALIFICATION: Prequalification is required. The Prequalification Application form in the bid booklet must be completed and filed with the District five (5) business days prior to the bid opening date.
