CPA2020-0002 / ZMA2020-0002, 8400 SW Canyon Drive LAND USE AND ZONING MAP AMENDMENTS:

NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL MEETING: On Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Beaverton Building, 12725 SW Millikan Way, Beaverton, Oregon, the City Council of the City of Beaverton will consider an ordinance approving the following proposed amendments. CPA2020-0002 / ZMA2020-0002, 8400 SW Canyon Drive LAND USE AND ZONING MAP AMENDMENTS: This proposal would amend the City Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map (CPA2020-0002) and Zoning Map (ZMA2020-0002) to apply City land use and zoning designations to the parcel that is annexing into the City of Beaverton. The property is addressed as 8400 SW Canyon Drive and is identified as tax lot 00400 on Washington County Tax Assessors tax map 1S112CB. The property is currently designated Washington County R9. The proposal would apply the city’s Standard Density Neighborhoods land use designation and R5 zoning designation. Approval criteria for the Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment are contained in Section 1.5.2 of the Comprehensive Plan. Approval criteria for the Zoning Map Amendment are contained in Development Code Section 40.97.15.3.C. REPORTS: You may review copies of the staff report and all other documents and evidence submitted in relation to these applications at no cost at the City’s Community Development Department public counter on the 4th floor of the Beaverton Building on and after March 31, 2020. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays. A copy of the staff report may be purchased at a reasonable cost. The staff report will also be available on the City’s public website at: http://apps2.beavertonoregon.gov/DevelopmentProjects. Failure to raise an issue prior to City Council adoption of the ordinance approving these applications, in person or by letter, or failure to provide statements or evidence sufficient to afford the City Council an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal to a court of competent jurisdiction on that issue.
