METRO OCC SPIRES AND CRESCENT REGLAZING Bids due: April 2, 2020 @ 2:00 pm INVITATION TO BID ITB 3823 Metro is inviting bids to waterproof and repair the spires and crescent at the Oregon Convention Center. Sealed bids are due no later than 2:00 p.m. April 2, 2020 in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Julie Hoffman, Procurement Analyst, ITB 3823. Bids will be opened publicly at that time. First Tier Subcontractor forms are due from all bidders within two hours of the bid due time or the bid will be considered non-responsive. A voluntary Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for all potential prime and sub-contractors on March 17, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the OCC Holladay Lobby, located at the NE Holladay Street entrance. Interested sub-contractors are also invited. The spires and crescent areas of the Oregon Convention Center have many points of water intrusion due to failed sealants. Per the solicitation documents, the selected Contractor will repair these areas to prevent future water intrusion. Per Metro’s Subcontractor Equity Program, Contractors that submit a bid for this project must solicit a sub-bid from ALL COBID certified businesses who attend the pre-bid conference. All bidders submitting a bid for public improvements over $50,000 certify that they will pay and comply with the minimum prevailing wage requirements of ORS 279C.800-279C.870 and if applicable 40 U.S.C.276a. Solicitation documents can be viewed and downloaded from the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN) at http://orpin.oregon.gov/open.dll/ Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is deemed in the public interest.
