WOOD STOVE EXCHANGE PROGRAM

WASHINGTON COUNTY, OREGON WOOD STOVE EXCHANGE PROGRAM Proposals due: May 8, 2020 @ 3:00 pm REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (NO. 2020.035P) Washington County, Oregon is requesting the following sealed proposals for the Office of Community Development (OCD), Wood Stove Exchange Program for: — 3-4 qualified firms to remove and replace old wood burning devices with new and cleaner options in residential structures. The County anticipates (but does not guarantee) the installation of 150 stoves (wood, pellet, and gas) in total; and — 2-3 qualified contractors skilled in the installation HVAC equipment (furnaces and heat pumps). Prequalified Contractors will be asked to provide specific pricing and availability on each repair or replacement, on an as needed basis. The maximum term of any contract will be for five (5) years. An Informational Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, April 16, 2020 interested parties may attend via TEAMS at no charge with no download necessary by using the contact information in Section 22.1 to request a meeting invite. Attendance is not required. Proposals must be received by 3:00 pm Friday, May 8, 2020 in the Washington County Purchasing Division Office, Charles D. Cameron Public Services Building, Suite 270, 155 North First Avenue, Hillsboro, OR 97124. Proposals received after the designated time and date, per the official bid clock located in Purchasing, will be returned unopened. The County may reject any proposal not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all proposals upon a finding of the County it is in the public interest to do so. A copy of the Request for Proposal document is posted on the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN) at http://orpin.oregon.gov. Proposal documents can be viewed and downloaded from the ORPIN site. Proposers are responsible for checking the ORPIN site for any addendums before submitting their proposals. The Washington County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any and all informalities in the best interest of the County.
