PUBLIC NOTICE Notice of Sole Source Procurement Radio System Upgrade Jefferson County The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners, acting as the County’s Local Contract Review Board, has determined that a sole source procurement is necessary for the efficient utilization of existing goods and services requiring the acquisition of compatible goods and services for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Radio System Upgrade. Jefferson County intends to negotiate a contract with Day Wireless to provide equipment, software and services to integrate into the existing network and anticipates that this contract will exceed $150,000. Day Wireless is the only Motorola manufacturer representative authorized in this area and Motorola is the only vender that can provide the necessary equipment and service for interoperability with network users. Any person wishing to protest this sole source determination may do so by providing written notice not later than May 29, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. to the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners at 66 SE D Street, Madras, OR 97741.
