PUBLIC NOTICE The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners has initiated the transfer of jurisdiction of a county road to the City of Madras. The Board will hold a public hearing to consider an ORDER IN THE MATTER OF SURRENDERING JURISDICTION OF NW GOLF COURSE ROAD AND A PORTION OF NW ADLER STREET TO THE CITY OF MADRAS on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at 9:30 a.m., in the Board of Commissioner’s Meeting Room at 66 SE D Street, Madras. This will be the time and place for all interested persons to appear and comment on the proposed transfer of jurisdiction. The transfer affects all of NW Golf Course Road from NW Birch Lane to the Golf Course parking lot and the portion of NW Adler Street from NW Birch Lane to Mill Street. A map identifying the affected portion of the road is available for inspection at the Jefferson County Board of Commissioner’s Office located at 66 SE D Street, Madras, Oregon, or online at www.jeffco.net/publicnotices. Appearance at this hearing may occur by telephone as a result of public health emergency restrictions.
