CITY OF HILLSBORO NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CASE FILE NO.: CU-002-20 DARGATZ FIBER HUT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Planning Commission, through a Zoom virtual meeting at or shortly after 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday, June 24, 2020. At this hearing, the Planning Commission will consider a request for Conditional Use approval to allow the installation of a one-story pre-manufactured fiber utility hut (hut) with a fenced utility courtyard located on a site approximately 0.58 acres in size. The proposed hut is approximately 230 square feet in size and will accommodate fiber optic communications components. This request includes a consolidated Development Review application for detailed review of the proposed structure. The City of Hillsboro is the property owner and applicant. The subject property is specifically identified as Tax Lot 11300 on Washington County Assessor’s Tax Map 1S2-10CA and is generally located north of SE Davis Road, south of SE Alexander Street and west of SE Aerie Avenue. The applicable criteria for this consolidated application are included in Sections 12.80.020 and 12.80.040 of the Community Development Code (CDC). The CDC may be viewed online at www.hillsboro-oregon.gov/communitydevelopmentcode or in the Planning Department office. The staff report on this matter will be available on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. The staff report, application materials, and the applicable criteria are available for public inspection at no cost, or copies can be provided at reasonable cost, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekdays, excluding holidays, in the Planning Department at the Civic Center, 150 E Main Street, 4th floor, Hillsboro, Oregon. The agenda packet will be updated after 8 am with the testimony received via email. — Teleconference Testimony: Pre-register to speak during the public hearing by providing your name and phone number to the Planning Department before 8 am on Wednesday, June 24th. During the public hearing, the Planning Commission President will read the list of those who pre-registered. When the President calls your name, you will have three minutes to speak. Members of the public using Zoom will not be able to share their screen during the meeting; presentation materials should be submitted as written testimony. Testimony should avoid repetition of issues, and should be based on the application or on the approval criteria listed above. ORS 197.763 provides that under certain circumstances, the record may remain open or a continuance may be granted upon the request of a participant.
