PUBLIC NOTICE NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER FOR SALE OCHOCO NATIONAL FOREST The Slot Sale is located within Sections 23, 24, 25, 26, 35, 36, T. 15 S., R. 20 E.; Sections 19, 20, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, T. 15 S., R. 21 E.; Surveyed, Willamette Meridian, Crook County, Oregon. The Forest Service will receive sealed bids no later than 10:00 AM local time on or before 09/14/2020 for an estimated volume of 2649 CCF of Douglas-fir & Western Larch sawtimber, 2211 CCF of Ponderosa Pine sawtimber, and 4444 CCF of White Fir & Other Coniferous Species sawtimber marked or otherwise designated for cutting. In addition, there is within the sale area an unestimated volume of Topwood & Piles grn bio cv, and Grn Bio Cv grn bio cv that the bidder may agree to remove at a fixed rate. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic virus in our area and based on current social distancing Executive Orders and recommendations at this time, out front office is closed.
