METRO METRO CENTRAL TRANSFER STATION STORMWATER PIPE REROUTING Bids due: October 8, 2020 @ 2:00 pm INVITATION TO BID ITB 3866 Metro is inviting bids to reroute stormwater piping at Metro Central Transfer Station. The Project includes all labor, material, and equipment requirements associated with and necessary to: — Route stormwater piping from existing catch basin to existing treatment system oil water separator including pipe fittings, clean-outs and coring for pipe connections to structures. — Route existing treated effluent piping as shown in drawings with new effluent piping across driveway to point of compliance, manhole 16’s outfall side. Bids are due no later than 2:00 p.m. October 8, 2020 in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Julie Hoffman, Procurement Analyst, ITB 3866. Responses will be opened publicly at that time. A voluntary Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for all potential prime and sub-contractors on September 22, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Metro Central, located at 6161 NW 61st Avenue, Portland, Oregon. Because of the State of Oregon’s social distancing policy, no more than 10 people are allowed to tour the site at one time. Each potential bidder is limited to one attendee. All attendees shall bring personal protective equipment (close-toed shoes, safety vest, hard hat, eye protection and a face mask). The conference will be held at 10:00 am. Attendance will be per RSVP. If the first conference fills up we will hold another at 11:00 am. All bidders submitting a bid for public improvements over $50,000 certify that they will pay and comply with the minimum prevailing wage requirements of ORS 279C.800-279C.870 and if applicable 40 U.S.C.276a. Solicitation documents can be viewed and downloaded from the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN) at http://orpin.oregon.gov/open.dll/ Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is deemed in the public interest.
