HEARING NOTICE The Newberg Planning Commission will hold legislative public hearings on October 8, 2020 at 7 p.m. via teleconference using Zoom to evaluate the following new proposals: 1. Riverfront Master Plan Implementation (Legislative): Consider a City proposal implementing the Riverfront Master Plan by amending the Comprehensive Plan, Comprehensive Plan Map, Development Code (15.300 – 15.500), and Zoning Map 15.05.110. Applicant: City of Newberg File: CPTA20-0001/CPMA20-0002/DCA20-0001/ZMA20-0002 2. Vertical Housing Development Zones (VHDZ) (Legislative): Consider a City proposal to create a VHDZ program. The area of the City that the VHDZ would apply to is the same area delineated in the Newberg Downtown Improvement Plan (NDIP), which was adopted by City Council Resolution No. 2016-3345. If approved Title 3 Revenue and Finance of the Newberg Municipal Code would be amended to create Chapter 3.50 Vertical Housing Development Zones.
