NOTICE OF STREET VACATION AND HEARING The Madras City Council will be conducting a Public Hearing at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 in the Madras City Council Chambers located at 125 SW E Street. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public input regarding a proposed alleyway vacation at the location described below. After the public hearing, Council may consider passage of an ordinance formalizing the proposed vacation. PROPOSED AREA TO BE VACATED: VACATE THE ALLEY BETWEEN S.W. CELILO STREET AND S.W. Copies of the map of the area to be vacated are available at Madras City Hall located at 125 SW E Street, Madras, Oregon, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Objections or remonstrances must be filed, in writing, no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 or can be presented verbally to the Council during the Public Hearing.
