NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Monday, October 12, 2020, 6:30 p.m.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The City of Lake Oswego Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, October 12, 2020, 6:30 p.m. Due to COVID-19 and Executive Orders issued by Governor Brown, city facilities are currently closed to the public. This meeting will be conducted virtually using Zoom. The City has made avenues available for the public to livestream this meeting. The meeting is available to the public on the City’s YouTube Channel on the City’s website, or on Tualatin Valley Community Television. Please contact staff for information on how to provide testimony remotely. The Commission will consider LU 20-0016, a request by The Society of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary to amend the Lake Oswego Community Development Code and the Marylhurst Area Special District Plan in Volume II of the Comprehensive Plan in order to add affordable multi-family dwellings as a permitted use in Phases I and I-A of the Campus Institutional (CI) zone on the former Marylhurst University Campus site. No actual development is proposed at this time. The property is located at 17600 Pacific Highway. Since the time allowed for public testimony is limited, you are urged to review the record and be thoroughly familiar with it if you plan to testify. NOTE: Failure to raise an issue in a hearing, in person or by letter accompanied by statements or evidence sufficient to afford the Planning Commission an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal to the City Council and the Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals (LUBA) based on that issue. Recommendation: Final recommendations of the Planning Commission shall be forwarded to the City Council. A final decision on these proposals will be made by the City Council. The staff report and all evidence relied on by the applicant will be available for review 10 days before the hearing on the City’s website at: https://www.ci.oswego.or.us/all-projects (Under Search enter LU 20-0016, then press Enter) Staff coordinator is Jessica Numanoglu, Planning Manager, (503) 635-0283 or jnumanoglu@lakeoswego.city.
