Public Notice- Planning Commission Hearing Thursday October 22, 2020

PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Estacada Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, October 22, 2020, beginning at 7:00 pm in the Estacada City Council Chambers, Estacada, Oregon, to consider the following applications: To help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to protect our more vulnerable members of the community, the City of Estacada will be holding public meetings virtually. Everyone is encouraged to please attend the meeting online or by phone. Written testimony can also be submitted, but must be submitted by 4:00 pm to the City Recorder on the date of the meeting. To email written testimony send to hovda@cityofestacada.org. Subdivision application #2020-03-S. The applicant, Park Development, Inc., is requesting subdivision of 43.44 acres described as 34E, 17B, tax lots 3100 and 3101; The subject properties are zoned M-1 Light Industrial and are in the Northwest Industrial Sanctuary. The application is subject to the criteria in Sections 16.39, 16.104, 16.108, 16.116, and 16.118 of the Estacada Municipal Code and applicable policies in the Estacada Comprehensive Plan. The Planning Commission will forward a recommendation to the Estacada City Council, who will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 9, 2020. Conditional Use application #2020-03-CU. The applicants, Orchid Health Clinic and Estacada School District, c/o Bill Roller, are requesting renewal of the 2019-01-CU approval for the continued operation of the 10-foot-wide, 42-foot-long structure for use by Orchid Health Clinic administrative staff. The subject property is described as 34E, 21B, Tax Lots 100 and 1100 and is zoned R-1 Low Density Residential. This application is subject to the criteria in Section 16.16 and 16.88 of the Estacada Municipal Code and applicable policies in the Estacada Comprehensive Plan. The Planning Commission’s decision may be appealed to the City Council within 15 days of signed findings. Anyone wishing to present written testimony on this proposed action may do so in writing prior to or at the Public Hearing. Testimony and evidence must be directed toward the applicable approval criteria or other criteria, which a person believes to apply to the decision. Failure to raise an issue in a hearing, in person, or by letter, or failure to provide sufficient specificity to afford the decision maker an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal of the Commission’s decision based upon that issue. A copy of the application and applicable criteria is available for inspection at no cost in the City Recorder’s Office at City Hall. Copies of the document will be provided at reasonable cost. A copy of the City’s staff report will be available for inspection at no cost at least seven days prior to the Public Hearing.
