Public Notice- City Council Legislative Hearing

PUBLIC NOTICE CITY COUNCIL LEGISLATIVE HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That the City of Fairview City Council will hold a public hearing to review a proposed Annexation at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 in the Council Chambers of the Fairview City Hall, located at 1300 NE Village Street, Fairview, Oregon. Interested persons are invited to appear and testify on the proposal. Due to the restrictions in place established by the Governor’s Stay-at-Home Order, Fairview City Hall is closed. Those wishing to attend are asked to notify the City Recorder at 503-674-6224 or leymasterd@ci.fairview.or.us at least 24 hours prior to the start of the meeting so arrangements to appear may be coordinated. Application #2020-25-AN and Ordinance 6-2020: a request to have the property at 20101 Interlachen Lane annexed into the City limits, and to amend all related service districts boundaries accordingly. The application is subject to the Type IV legislative process in accordance with and with criteria from Fairview Municipal Code (FMC) 19.413.040, 19.470.600, as well as Metro Code Sections 3.09.050(b), (d), and (g), the City’s comprehensive Plan, State ORS Section 222 and the State Planning Goals. The City Council may make a final decision regarding the above application at the public hearing on October 21, 2020. If the City Council renders a decision, it will be mailed to anyone who submitted written comments, provided public testimony, or who is otherwise legally entitled to notice. A copy of the staff report will be available seven days before the hearings. Copies of the report and evidence can be obtained at reasonable cost from the City.
