CLACKAMAS COUNTY NOTICE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY RIVER STREET GENERATOR REPLACEMENT PROJECT Bids due: November 12, 2020 @ 2:00 pm INVITATION TO BID #2020-70 October 14, 2020 Clackamas County (County) on behalf of Water Environment Services through their Board of County Commissioners is accepting sealed bids for the River Street Generator Replacement Project until November 12, 2020, 2:00 PM, Pacific Time, (Bid Closing) at the following location: DELIVER BIDS TO: Clackamas County Procurement Division, Attention George Marlton, County Procurement Officer, Clackamas County Public Services Building, 2051 Kaen Road, Oregon City, OR 97045; or via email to procurement@clackamas.us. Prospective Bidders will need to sign in to download the information and that information will be accumulated for a Plan Holder’s List. Prospective Bidders are responsible for obtaining any Addenda from Website listed above. Pre-Bid Conference A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be conducted on October 29, 2020 at 10:00 AM. Bidders shall meet with County representatives at the project site located at 5710 River Street, West Linn, Oregon 97068 for that purpose. Attendance will be documented through a sign-in sheet prepared by the County representative. Prime bidders who arrive more than ten (10) minutes after the start time of the meeting (as stated in the solicitation and by the County’s watch) or after the discussion portion of the meeting (whichever comes first) shall not be permitted to sign in and will not be permitted to submit a bid on the project. All attendees will be required to adhere to state/county social distancing requirements as well as provide their own face covering or mask. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at the above Delivery address after the Bid Closing. Bid results will also be posted to the ORPIN listing shortly after the opening. Prevailing Wage Prevailing Wage Rates requirements apply to this Project because the maximum compensation for all Owner-contracted Work is more than $50,000. Contractor and all subcontractors shall comply with the provisions of ORS 279C.800 through 279C.870, relative to Prevailing Wage Rates. The Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI) wage rates and requirements set forth in the following BOLI booklet (and any listed amendments to that booklet), which are incorporated herein by reference, apply to the Work authorized under this Agreement: PREVAILING WAGE RATES for Public Works Contracts in Oregon, July 1, 2020, as amended on October 1, 2020 which can be downloaded at the following web address: http://www.oregon.gov/boli/WHD/PWR/Pages/pwr_state.aspx The Work will take place in Clackamas County, Oregon.
