CPA2020-0005 and ZMA2020-0006, THPRD Trail Property and Abutting Right-of-Way LAND USE AND ZONING MAP AMENDMENTS

NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL MEETING: On Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Beaverton Building, 12725 SW Millikan Way, Beaverton, Oregon, the City Council of the City of Beaverton will consider an ordinance approving the following proposed amendments. (Note: Meetings are held remotely and can be viewed at the following link: https://www.beavertonoregon.gov/268/Agendas-Minutes) CPA2020-0005 and ZMA2020-0006, THPRD Trail Property and Abutting Right-of-Way LAND USE AND ZONING MAP AMENDMENTS: This proposal would amend the City Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map (CPA2020-0005) and Zoning Map (ZMA2020-0006) to apply City land use and zoning designations to the one parcel and abutting right of way that is currently annexing into the City of Beaverton. The property is identified as tax lot 03500 on Washington County Tax Assessors tax map 1S123AC. The property is currently designated Washington County R5. The proposal would apply the city’s Standard Density Neighborhoods land use designation and R7 zoning designation. Approval criteria for the Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment are contained in Section 1.5.2 of the Comprehensive Plan. Approval criteria for the Zoning Map Amendment are contained in Development Code Section 40.97.15.3.C. ***NOTE: The City of Beaverton has declared a State of Emergency due to COVID-19 and the Community Development Division is closed to the public until further notice. The Community Development Department is evaluating temporary changes to processes and procedures to respond appropriately to the COVID-19 State of Emergency and is committed to ensuring that the land use review process continues to fulfill the requirements of state and local law while protecting the health and well-being of the community.*** REPORTS: A copy of all documents and evidence submitted by or on behalf of the applicant, and applicable review criteria, are available for inspection.
