PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE Portland Air National Guard Base will hold a Restoration Advisory Board Meeting on November 5, 2020 3:00 – 5:00 PM The Portland Air National Guard (ANG) Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) consists of volunteer community members, technical advisors, and Portland ANG staff. RAB meetings are a forum to discuss and hear reports on the Portland ANG cleanup progress and future activities. The Portland ANG Environmental Restoration Program (ERP) focuses on contamination that occurred in the past due to spills, leaks, and discontinued historical practices. The RAB was formed to assist current efforts that are focused on investigating the releases of PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) to the environment based on historical use of fire suppression foam.
