PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Crook County Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2020 in the Crook County Meeting Room, 320 NE Court Street, Prineville, Oregon, to consider the following: Record Number: 217-20-001038-PLNG – An appeal to the Planning Commission by Central Oregon LandWatch of an administrative approval of a conditional use for a nonfarm dwelling in Riverside Ranch Subdivision – Unit 1 (217-20-000891), owner – Randy Shoaff. The property consists of four parcels totaling approximately 48 acres, zoned Exclusive Farm Use (EFU-1). The property is identified on the Assessor’s maps as follows: 161815A000900, 161815A000500, 161815A000700, 161815D000300 – The proposed dwelling will be located on tax lot 300. The application is subject to review under Crook County Code, Title 18, Chapter 16, Crook County Comprehensive Plan, Oregon Administrative Rules and Oregon Revised Statutes. Non-farm dwellings are conditional uses in the County’s EFU zone. A notice of public hearing and location maps are being mailed to all affected property owners, and to the appropriate entities and public agencies at least 20 days prior to the Planning Commission hearing. The hearing is being held pursuant to Crook County Code 18.172. Written testimony may be submitted to the Crook County Community Development Department, 300 NE 3rd Street, Room 12, Prineville, Oregon 97754, prior to 4:00 p.m. on November 25 or by email (plan@co.crook.or.us) or submitted at the hearing.
