NOTICE OF POTENTIAL ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY The City of Lake Oswego has received an annexation petitions for two parcels, which are located within the Urban Service Boundary of the City of Lake Oswego. The parcels are located at: 5350 Firwood Road (21E07DB07100) and 16115 Bonaire Avenue (21E07DB03600) The Lake Oswego City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at 5:30 p.m. to consider these annexation petitions and proposed ordinance, including the zoning designation for the parcels. Due to COVID-19 and Executive Orders issued by Governor Brown, city facilities are currently closed to the public. This meeting will be held virtually and all members of the City Council are attending remotely. Several avenues are available to the public for viewing or participating remotely. The meeting can be livestreamed on the City’s YouTube Channel and on the City’s website (www.ci.oswego.or.us). The meeting will also be broadcast live on Tualatin Valley Community Television (tvctv.org). The title of the ordinance is: Ordinance 2857 An ordinance annexing to the City of Lake Oswego two parcels consisting of 0.81 acres at 5350 Firwood Road and 16115 Bonaire Avenue and a portion of the public right-of-way at Bonaire Avenue; declaring City of Lake Oswego zoning pursuant to LOC 50.01.004.5(a-c); and removing the territory from certain districts (AN 20-0006 and AN 20-0007). Individuals are allowed up to 5 minutes, and any person attending the hearing may cede their time to another individual; however, in no case will any individual have more than 10 minutes to testify. Recognized neighborhood associations, governments and government agencies, and other incorporated public interest organizations have up to 10 minutes to testify. Note: Failure to raise an issue in the hearing, in person or by letter, or failure to provide statements or evidence sufficient to afford the City Council an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals based on that issue.
