Notice of Public Hearing Annexation: Weisz Family Properties (ANX 2020-04 & ZC 2020-03) On January 14, 2021 at 7:00 p.m., the Woodburn Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to hear Annexation (ANX) into city limits and Zoning Map Change (ZC) for three lots totaling approximately 73 acres of territory (Tax Lots 052W140000200, 600, & 800), known as the Weisz Family Properties, located southwest of City limits along the Interstate 5 corridor. Each of the lots is undeveloped farmland with no assigned address. The annexation also includes adjacent right-of-way of Butteville Road and Parr Road. No development is proposed with the annexation. The City case file numbers are ANX 2020-04 and ZC 2020-03. The venue for the hearing will be the City Hall Council Chambers at 270 Montgomery Street, Woodburn, Oregon, however the hearing will be held remotely via virtual teleconference because City Hall remains closed to the public due to COVID-19. Any interested party may testify virtually at the hearing or submit written testimony on the proposal at or prior to the hearing. If submitting testimony in advance, please submit prior by 5pm on the night of the hearing. The City may accommodate Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) access upon timely request. A summary of ANX 2020-04 & ZC 2020-03 will be available seven days in advance of the Commission hearing date for viewing at City Hall by appointment. Copies may be purchased at cost and picked up from City Hall by appointment. The meeting agenda and packet will also be available online via the City calendar at . At the conclusion of the hearing, the Planning Commission will make a recommendation to the City Council, which will hold its own hearing (tentatively scheduled for Monday, February 8, 2021) and decide upon the proposal.
