NOTICE OF DRAINAGE HEARING

IN THE CIRCUIT COURT OF THE STATE OF OREGON FOR THE COUNTY OF MULTNOMAH Case No. 20CV46472 NOTICE OF DRAINAGE HEARING In the Matter of Peninsula Drainage District No. 1’s Petition for Judicial Validation of Drainage District Boundary Amendment, Petitioner. To: The owners and all parties interested in the lands corporate and other property in and adjacent to Peninsula Drainage District No. 1: You are notified that Peninsula Drainage District No. 1 (the Drainage District) has filed in Multnomah County Circuit Court a petition praying for judicial validation of the Drainage District’s Bard of Supervisors’ decision to amend the boundaries of the Drainage District to bring certain properties back within the Drainage District (the Petition) as described in the plan for reclamation attached to the Petition as Exhibit 1 (the Plan for Reclamation). The proposed boundary amendment will help the Drainage District provide consistent services year-round, maintain and operate its assets at an appropriate level, and reduce the burden on the properties that are not yet under compression. If the Petition is granted, (1) the Drainage District’s boundaries will be amended as described in the Plan for Reclamation, and (2) the court will validate the regularity and legality of the Drainage District’s Board’s decision to amend the Drainage District’s boundaries as described in the Plan for Reclamation. A hearing on the Petition will be held in Room 7A of the courthouse in the city of Portland, County of Multnomah, State of Oregon, on February 24, 2021, at 3:00 p.m., for the purpose of determining whether the prayer in the Petition shall be granted. All persons owning for claiming an interest in lands described in the Petition are notified to appear at that place or by telephone (503-388-9555, access code 146 700 8974) on that date and show cause, if any there be, why the prayer in the Petition should not be granted.
