LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Columbia City Council will hold a public hearing on Thursday, January 21st at 6:15 p.m. during its Regular City Council Meeting. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the Council meeting is being held by conference call only. In order to gain access, and give testimony during this public hearing, interested parties are encouraged to call 425-436-6318 and utilize the access code of 752011*. The purpose of the hearing is to gather public testimony relating to a proposal to impose fees for both the modified Site Development Review Application and the newly created Floodplain Development Permit Application. This would add a Minor Modification deposit fee of $100.00 to the Site Development Review process, as applicable; and the fees for Major Modification would remain unchanged. This would also add a deposit fee of $50.00 for the newly developed Floodplain Development Permit process. Both of these fees assist the City in capturing costs for Engineering and/or Planning review costs. Information about the proposal is available for public inspection at the City Hall; 1840 Second Street Columbia City, Oregon 97018, Monday through Friday, during regular business hours. Written input will be accepted prior to the hearing, submitted at City Hall by 4:00 pm on January 21, 2021, and oral input will be accepted during the public hearing. Published January 15, 2021.
