OREGON CONVENTION CENTER FIRE ALARM SYSTEM TESTING AND SERVICES Proposals due: February 25, 2021 @ 2:00 pm REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS RFP 3886 The Oregon Convention Center and Metro, a metropolitan service district organized under the laws of the State of Oregon and the Metro Charter, located at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, are hereby requesting proposals for Fire Alarm System Testing and Services at the Oregon Convention Center located at 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Portland, OR 97232. Proposals are due no later than 2:00 p.m., February 25, 2021, only at the BidLocker website http://bidlocker.us/a/oregonmetro/BidLocker Contractor shall provide annual testing services as listed in the RFP documents. Contractor shall test all components of the fire alarm system for proper operation and document findings in electronic service reports as testing is completed. Deficiencies shall be noted in an electronic report. Smoke detectors shall be cleaned as required and sensitivity verified. The testing and service shall be performed in conformance with all current NFPA 72 guidelines as well as all federal, state, and local rules, regulations, codes, and laws. Bidding documents/RFP documents can be viewed and downloaded from the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN) at http://orpin.oregon.gov/open.dll/. Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is deemed in the public interest.
