Seven citizen members, who may not be officers, agents or employees of the City, serve alongside the City Council (Mayor and six City Council members). At the first meeting of the year, members elect a Chair and a Secretary, review the Community Grant Applications, and receive the budget message from the Budget Officer. During the meeting, opportunity is given for citizens to testify on budget-related matters. At the second meeting of the year, continue the review and approval of the budget document.
