CITY OF HILLSBORO WATER LINE REPLACEMENT HYDRANT NE 768 Bids due and Bid Closing Date and Time: March 11, 2021 at 2:00 PM PST First Tier Subcontractor Disclosure due: Not later than March 11, 2021 at 4:00 PM PST INVITATION TO BID (ITB) ITB NO. 202101-10002 The City of Hillsboro seeks competitive sealed bids from qualified and experienced firms able to provide waterline installation and roadway construction. Work includes installation of approximately 675 linear feet of 8 class 52 ductile iron zinc coated waterline and approximately 255 linear feet of 4 class 52 ductile iron zinc coated waterline. Work also includes 11 service lines, 2 fire hydrants, 2 combined air release valves, and the abandonment of existing 6 and 4 cast iron pipe. Any valves, fittings, meter boxes, and any other appurtenances needed to perform and complete all project work are included in the project scope. Trench excavations, backfill, surface restoration and connection to the existing main in NE Brogden St is also included. There is no pre-qualification process for this ITB. There is no mandatory pre-bid meeting. If a prospective bidder desires a site visit, they must email the provided contact by February 22, 2021 to schedule. Due to COVID conditions, site visits will be limited to a specific time prior to the provided request deadline. Participation will be limited to two persons from the prospective bidder’s firm or their representative in order to minimize exposure potential. The visit will strictly be an opportunity for the prospective bidder to view the site. No question will be answered and no information beyond what is in the ITB will be provided. Sealed bids will be received by City Contact: Electronic bid submission is required. Late bids will be rejected as non- responsive. First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure: A Bidder may submit First-Tier Subcontractor disclosure with their bid or may submit it to the City Contact by email. If submitting by email, Bidder is responsible for assuring the email is received timely by the City.
