UNITED STATES OF AMERICA FEDERAL ENERGY REGULATORY COMMISSION Ochoco Irrigation District Project No. 14791-004 NOTICE OF SURRENDER OF PRELIMINARY PERMIT (January 26, 2021) Take notice that Ochoco Irrigation District, permittee for the proposed Bowman Dam Hydroelectric Project, has requested that its preliminary permit be terminated. The permit was issued on December 22, 2016, extended on November 8, 2019, and would have expired on November 30, 2021. The project would have been located at the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation’s Arthur R. Bowman Dam on the Crooked River in Crook County, Oregon. The preliminary permit for Project No. 14791 will remain in effect until the close of business, February 25, 2021. But, if the Commission is closed on this day, then the permit remains in effect until the close of business on the next day in which the Commission is open.
