JOINT WATER COMMISSION WATER TREATMENT CHEMICALS CONTRACT Bids due: March 19, 2021 INVITATION TO BID ITB NO. 202102-10006 This is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) to provide water treatment chemicals in bulk quantities to the Joint Water Commission (JWC) and City of Hillsboro (City) and Authorized Purchasers, for a maximum of five years. The chemical included in this bid are Aluminum Sulfate (Liquid Alum). The Joint Water Commission seeks bid proposals from qualified vendors able to provide and deliver bulk quantities of Aluminum Sulfate (liquid alum) to the JWC Water Treatment Plant in Forest Grove, Oregon. The JWC intends to award a single contract as a result of this ITB. The winning bidder must provide delivery services for Aluminum Sulfate (liquid alum) awarded under the contract in strict accordance with the schedule and safety guidelines specified in this bid. Late bids will be rejected as non-responsive. The JWC may reject any proposal not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all proposals upon a finding of the JWC if it is in the public interest to do so. The Joint Water Commission acting as the Contract Review Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any and all informalities in the best interest of the Commission.
