NOTICE OF JEFFERSON COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONER HEARING CASEFILE 20-A-02 The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners have scheduled a limited evidentiary hearing per Jefferson County Zoning Ordinance (JCZO) Section 903.6(B.)(2.) to consider a Planning Commission denial decision on an income test farm dwelling for Northwest Oregon Land, LLC. For this hearing, testimony and evidence will only be accepted regarding the applicable criteria found in JCZO Section 301.6(B.)(1.)(b). This property is located in the EFU A-1 zone and further identified as T12S, R12E, Section 12, Tax Lot 100 (38.20 acres). The hearing will be held on April 7, 2021, at 1:30 pm in the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners meeting room located at 66 SE D Street, Madras, OR. A copy of all documents and evidence relating to this proposal and applicable criteria are available for inspection at no cost at the Jefferson County Community Development Department. Copies will be provided at a reasonable cost. A copy of the staff report will be available for inspection at no cost at least seven days prior to the hearing and will be provided at reasonable cost. Any written testimony should be submitted to the Community Development Department, 85 SE D Street, Madras, Oregon, 97741, or may be submitted at the public hearing. The failure to raise an issue by the close of the record at or following the final evidentiary hearing, in person or by letter, or failure to provide statements or evidence sufficient to afford the decision-maker an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals based on that issue.
