PUBLIC NOTICE PLANNING COMMISSION QUASI-JUDICIAL HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That the City of Fairview Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to review a proposed Design Review at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 8 , 2021. This was previously heard by the Planning Commission on March 9, however due to an error with the notice, a second date is being made available to provide additional testimony. Fairview City Hall is closed to the public and the meeting will be held on Zoom. The link will be available on the Planning Commission agenda which is available here- https://fairvieworegon.gov/207/Planning-Commission. Application #2020-37-DR: a request to construct a truck parking facility at 23012 NE Sandy Blvd. with a 21,600 s.f. building with a 2,000 s.f. mezzanine, a truck maintenance area, truck wash facility and 182 parking spaces (20 passenger and 162 truck) in a paved parking lot in the GI Zone. The application is subject to the Type III quasi-judicial process in accordance with and with criteria from Fairview Municipal Code (FMC) 19.85, 19.106, 19.162 through 19.165, and 19.426. The Planning Commission may make a final decision regarding the above application at the public hearing on April 8, 2021. If the Planning Commission renders a decision, it will be mailed to anyone who submitted written comments, provided public testimony, or who is otherwise legally entitled to notice. To Submit Comments or Obtain More Information: A decision on the above application may be made at the public hearing on April 8, 2021. When rendered, the decision will be mailed to the applicant and to anyone else who submitted written comments or who is otherwise legally entitled to notice. If you wish to appeal the request on a particular issue, that issue must be raised in writing prior to the hearing, or verbally within the public hearing. Issues must be raised with sufficient specificity to enable the decision-maker to respond to the issues. All evidence relied upon by the Planning Commission to make this decision is in the public record, available for public review.
