PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE The City of Madras will hold public hearings before the City of Madras Planning Commission in order to receive testimony or comments on: – Planning File No. TA-21-5, legislative land use regulation amendments initiated by the City of Madras Development Code to update the Manufactured Dwelling Parks development regulations in Madras Development Code Chapter 18 – Development Code. STANDARDS AND APPLICABLE CRITERIA: The applicable criteria for this land use decision are the statewide land use goals, the Madras Comprehensive Plan, Madras Development Code Chapter 18.75 (Amendments). COVID-19 ACCOMODATIONS & Zoom Meetings To promote social distancing, the City will allow for remote participation through Zoom. Please contact City staff at least 24 hours prior to each public hearing for more information on how to participate remotely. The City of Madras cannot guarantee that the Zoom meeting will be fully functional. Should the Zoom meeting not work correctly, it shall not invalidate the public hearing or prevent the City in taking formal action on the proposal. Accordingly, the City recommends that anyone wishing to present testimony during the public hearings also provide written comments to the City of Madras Community Development Department by mailing them to Nicholas Snead, Community Development Director, 125 SW E Street, Madras, OR, 97741 or by emailing them to nsnead@cityofmadras.us. Anyone wishing to present testimony may do so at the public hearing. Anyone may submit written comments in advance of the public hearings to the Community Development Department at 125 SW E Street, Madras, Oregon. The complete file will be available for review at Madras Community Development Department. Upon request, copies of file materials are available at a cost of $.25 per page. This meeting/event location is accessible. Sign and other language interpreter service, assistive listening devices, materials in alternate format such as Braille, large print, electronic formats, language translations or any other accommodations are available upon advance request at no cost.
