City of Tigard – Notice of Budget Committee Meeting The City of Tigard Budget Committee will meet Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. in a virtual meeting capacity. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the fiscal year 2021-2022 budget message from the City Manager and to begin deliberation of the FY 2021-2022 proposed budget. The deliberations will include discussion of the use of State Revenue Sharing funds. A second and third meeting to discuss the 2021-22 fiscal year budget proposal is scheduled for Monday, May 3, 2021 and if needed, Monday May 10, 2021, both beginning at 6:30pm. These meetings will also be held in a virtual capacity. The fiscal year 2021-22 proposed budget will be available on the city’s website on April 8, 2021 at http://www.tigard-or.gov/budget. Let your voice be heard! While we are not able to accommodate in-person public testimony, we encourage you to send in written testimony or call in live during the meeting to comment about what is included in the upcoming budget. Your comment will be read or summarized during the budget committee meeting on April 24th. Phone into the Budget Committee Meeting: We anticipate public testimony starting at approximately 10:00am; please call 503.966.4101 between 9:45am and 10:00am; you will be placed in a queue and we will take your testimony on a first come first serve basis-starting with the city budget and transitioning to the Town Center Development Agency budget. Please plan on limiting your comment to three minutes. General budget question: Please email our Senior Budget Analyst, Steve Kang at stevek@tigard-or.gov For the May 3rd and 10th meetings, you will have another opportunity to provide comment on the upcoming budget. This meeting begins at 6:30pm, and public testimony will be one of the first agenda items. Please submit written testimony via the form below by Monday, May 3rd or 10th , 12:00pm.
